PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Rondo Thomas B.Th., MTh.S.,D.D.
Rev. Thomas has over 50 years of ministry experience including six years of missionary service in Canada’s high Arctic. Prior to becoming a pastor, he served eight years as an air evacuation medic in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served on the Council of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario for eight years. For the past 22 years he has been servicing as Vice President and professor of Canada Christian College. In 2012 he was awarded the Queen’s Silver Jubilee medal for his service to the public of Canada. His dedication to Lindsey Villages is prompted as the grandfather to an autistic child.
Harold Lee, CPA, CA
Harold is a graduate from the University of Western Ontario, currently works as a partner at a CPA, CA firm and has over 25 years of non-profit audit, accounting, tax, and business advisory experience working with owner managed businesses. Over the years, he has also worked in industry as Director of Finance and Controller for various fast 50 corporations in the Greater Toronto Area. He is a great resource for any small to mid-sized businesses facing various accounting and managerial issues. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his family, play golf and also volunteers with various charities in the Greater Toronto Area.
Mr. Jim Payne is Chief Executive Officer, dynaCERT Inc. Mr. Payne also serves as Chief Executive Officer of his privately held consulting, project management and real-estate development company operating in the GTA and surrounding areas. Mr. Payne graduated from St. Clair College in Construction Engineering, Project Management and Estimating in 1974. He has successfully built and managed his own private companies for more than 38 years. This provides Mr. Payne with years of experience in accounting, business leadership, and the legal aspects of governance. Over the last decade Mr. Payne has taken his natural networking skills and built on them to create strong team dynamics that lead to success and generate movement. With a strong leadership presence, Mr. Payne is leadingdynaCERT in a way that has helped to streamline corporate activities, generate growth, form new partnerships, and bring the corporate vision to a reality.
Harold Barrett – Secretary, Treasurer
Harold is a family man who has been very active on the board of his church under Rev. Rondo Thomas for over 20 years. Harold has worked in the dairy business for many years. He started out as a dairy worker in ’74 before moving in ‘85 to become an independent distributer owner/operator contracted out to the dairy. Harold believes strongly that Lindsey Villages is very important and will have a great impact on those who use it which is why he has volunteered his time to help get Lindsey Villages operational. He has seen firsthand the challenges and struggles parents have living with and raising an autistic child and believes time spent at Lindsay Villages will be a wonderful experience and a time of growth for the families.
Karen Barrett – Director
Karen was a stay at home mom raising her three beautiful children to become strong independent individuals of society and like her husband has seen the struggles and challenges parents with autistic children have. Karen believes that Lindsey Villages is a wonderful place where families can come get help and support to raise their autistic child to become a healthy, productive member of society. After raising her children, Karen created a career with the City of Toronto in the health and wellness industry working with the aging population and continues to do so.
